The Cannonball Foundation is excited to announce its partnership with Medfield’s Sluggers Academy, greater Boston’s new, premier indoor baseball and softball training facility!
S.A. provides a state-of-the-art 24,000 square foot facility, consisting of nine fully turfed hitting and pitching tunnels, an infield training area, and a large clubhouse meeting space. Thanks to the generosity of owners Joe Petrucci ,James Lagos and Jeff Tapley, the Cannonball Prospects will utilize this space as its official training center where they will conduct workouts, as well as academic counseling sessions.
“We are blown away by the support Sluggers has shown us from day 1,” said Executive Director, Mike Schell. “Not only is the facility the finest I’ve worked in, but, more importantly, it’s led by a management team that truly understands the importance of giving back to the community and guiding student-athletes in their quest to be their personal best on the field, in the classroom and in their communities.
