After a successful summer between the white lines, the Cannonball Prospects will soon be in full “postseason” swing as they prepare to begin their various community service programs within The Cannonball Foundation’s Leaders in the Lineup program.
On September 15th, several Prospects will participate at The Miracle League’s Opening Day, a wonderful event held in Acton, MA. Meanwhile, other players will be leading that day at Wareham Crossing, where the Special Olympics of MA will be hosting their Braveheart Awards benefitting the families of the organization’s champion athletes.
The Cannonball Foundation is devoted to a pay-it-forward philosophy. Our passion to develop leaders on the field and in the classroom is equaled only by our desire to have our participants serve in the community. In return for the baseball development, college admission assistance, and academic counseling our participants receive, they pay by showing compassion to others in need of support. Current members of our growing Leaders in the Lineup team include The Miracle League, Special Olympics of Massachusetts, and Hugs for Heroes.
